WhEre FOr ART tHoU, ROmeO?

Hey! Welcome to "WhEre FOr ART tHoU, ROmeO?"!
I'm not quite sure what I'm going to be putting on here, but i know it will be art related. Most likely, i'll be documenting my projects hroughout the year. I'm in an AP- 2D Art Portfolio class, and my latest project, which i completed last night, is a cubist self portrait. Rather than distorting the planes of the actual face, i divided the finished portrait into sections and added colour to each section in varying degrees of light and dark. I used prismacolors on sketchbook paper. The finished portrait is 8"x12". I'm not sure what my next project is, but i'm excited!!! I'll also be including nifty information that my spiffy art history teacher gives me. I'm also planning on including information about museum showings in my area and info about my favorite artist and their works. Right now, I'm totally loving the Pre-Raphaelites, but Warhol and Vermeer are my favorites. I'm totally pumped for this site!!!
